Squaredot is an award winning B2B marketing agency. We help B2B technology brands get famous and grow fast. We do everything from positioning, strategy and planning to website design & development, branding, creative content, campaigns and promotion.


We believe in creativity and in challenging the old-fashioned misconception that B2B marketing is boring and all the fun is in B2C. We’re also growing fast, and that’s where you come in - we need to add to our team and we’re looking for an experienced project director who shares our passion and beliefs.


As Squaredot grows, we are recruiting for a Project Director to drive customer experience and operational excellence across all projects and accounts.



The role
Tasked with managing our clients and ensuring our customers have the best customer experience. This role will suit an experienced, ambitious and customer-focused and operations minded person.


The Project Director will be responsible for the management and delivery of client campaigns with B2B tech brands. We are looking for people with an operational mindset, drawn to the tech landscape, who have knowledge of the industry and a deep interest in how it operates. As a client-facing leader, the position requires the ability to lead with operational excellence when implementing and delivering complex B2B campaigns.


The successful candidate will oversee the overall management, and profitability of our account base. As such, they are tasked with understanding clients’ needs, and developing intricate client plans to achieve their marketing objectives.
Ultimately accountable for maximising client satisfaction and value, the Project Director will also be responsible for ensuring all agency teams work together to provide a consistent level of product and service delivery. The Project Director should possess a high level of financial acumen to manage business decisions associated with service delivery and client satisfaction.



A little about you
You’ll have experience. Preferably in B2B marketing specifically. You’ll have built up an impressive portfolio of projects under your belt, where your ownership of each project shines through.


You have the energy to keep up and the ability to wear lots of different hats. You’ll be excited at the opportunity to join and influence a young and ambitious agency, with a growing list of B2B clients based in Ireland and around Europe.


Under your watch, clients work gets done on time, within the agreed scope and on budget. You’ll ensure the client and the team inhouse both know what’s going on and why. You are comfortable with daily client calls and project management. You enjoy building a rapport with clients and be accountable for their happiness.


You are able to brief other team members on what needs to be done and manage teams and timelines.


You’ll have experience in managing inbound marketing campaigns, tactics and activities. If you know your way around Hubspot, that’s a great start. And we use Wrike for project management. Don’t sweat it if you’ve never used it before. It’s easy to master and we’ll train you in.


You enjoy analysing stuff. Campaigns always need tweaking, so you’ll keep on top of the reports and have the gumption to roll your sleeves up and pitch in with ideas or solutions when you can.


Clients will love you because you ensure the work gets done and done well. And that just as well because we also expect you to upsell more of our services and help grow our agency.



Responsibilities


Client management:

  • Learn Squaredot’s approach to marketing, and then be the guardian of standards across every project.
  • Be the main point of contact with our clients and own the capacity, throughput and deadlines of agency work
  • Lead and drive our clients projects to the finish line on time and to budget
  • With your team take a strategic brief and turn it into clear instructions for writers and designers and realistic budgets and timescales for clients
  • Work with colleagues to manage ongoing contact with the client.
  • Have the confidence to advise clients on the best choices to make in a variety of mediums and channels
  • Conduct presentations, pitches, and meetings
  • Review client analytics and feedback to help set and communicate goals
  • Retain and grow client relationships
  • Improving communications between teams and clients
  • Demonstrate clear and measurable value to client relationships.
  • Play a role in speaking to clients, understanding needs, and getting everyone on the same page
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of clients’ marketing and advertising campaigns

Managing the agency account management team and resources:

  • Manage agency resources as they are required to deliver projects now, whilst keeping an eye on what resources are required in the future (2 - 4 months) so we can manage resources effectively.
  • Creative and strategic problem solving to help the agency have more successful relationships with clients
  • Management strategy and execution to support growth of agency, client accounts, and external freelance teams
  • Understand and track project scope, and scope of value in order to achieve agency growth
  • Demonstrate proactive leadership that encourages teams to perform to the best of their ability

Požiadavky

Experience / Qualities

  • 6+ years of client facing experience where you are often the most senior representative of the agency.
  • Experience managing a team of high performing client service professionals with a focus on guiding and mentoring
  • Commercially astute with 6+ years of managing large client budgets.
  • Ability to build and maintain key relationships with client teams and internal leads, including strategy and creative team leads.
  • Strong organisational skills and digital background / knowledge. Project management superstar.
  • Proficient in English - you really need to have great English - you need to be able to understand native speakers (via calls too), speak and write fluently so you can communicate with the clients and the rest of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal mandatory - interpretative dance optional)
